Pain and Addiction Research Center (PARC) Membership

PARC membership is open to all UCSF faculty and trainees and to faculty members, clinicians and scientists outside of UCSF. Access to PARC resources requires membership. Applying for membership is easy and requires the completion of a short questionnaire about research and clinical interests related to pain and addiction and the uploading of an NIH biosketch or CV.

Full membership is open to UCSF faculty in any series and includes:

  • Notification of PARC updates and all enrichment activities of the PARC, including the annual symposium, workshops, and seminar series.
  • Facilitated scientific working group sessions to foster collaborative research projects.
  • Inclusion in the Pain and Addiction Research Community at UCSF
  • Inclusion in all PARC communications (e.g., events, funding opportunities, news)
  • Provision of opportunities to network with potential collaborators and mentors
  • Eligibility to apply for intramural PARC grants
  • Eligibility for mentored grant reviews

Associate membership is open to all UCSF trainees, graduate students, clinical fellows, post-doctoral fellows, and research staff or specialists, and to faculty members as well as clinicians and scientists outside of UCSF who have research and clinical interests related to pain and addiction. 

Associate membership includes:

  • Notification of PARC updates and all enrichment activities of the PARC, including the annual symposium, workshops, and seminar series.
  • Inclusion in the Pain and Addiction Research Community at UCSF
  • Inclusion in all PARC communications (e.g., events, funding opportunities, news)
  • Provision of opportunities to network with potential collaborators and mentors
